OUR TECHNICAL ADVICE ON TRANSMISSION
Bearing equivalence table

How to chose your bearing
IDENTIFY THE TYPE OF BEARING TO REPLACE
- Ball bearing: Single row, double row, angular contact
- Roller bearing: cylindrical, spherical, conical
- Stop: balls or rollers
- Super precision: angular contact ball, cylindrical rolle
- The bore od the inner ring (inner diameter)
- The outside diameter of the outside ring
- The inside and outside width (they might be different)
- The shape of the bore and/or outer diameter of the bearing - spherical, conical or cy
- The more information available, the easier it is to identify the needed replacement bearing
- Make note of features such as lubrication holes, grooves of circlips, etc.
- Information on application and equipment used
LOCATE THE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER ON THE BEARING
Bearing identification numbers are usually located on the surface of the inner ring, outer ring surface or outside diameter.
MEASURE IF NECESSARY
If the bearing identification numner is not legible, you will need to determine the following:

How to determine your strap?
IDENTIFY THE MATERIAL
CARRYING OUT 4 SIDE RATINGS:
Example of determination for a belt 240I075* (belt: step in inches)
The 9,525mm pitch and the 3,06mm thickness correspond to a L-Profile belt.
The number of teeth 64 corresponds to a length of 609,60mm (24,0 inch).
(Number of teeth x pitch) = 64 x 9,525 = 609,60mm
(length mm / 1 inch) = 609,60 / 25,4 = 24,0 code 240
The Width of 19,05mm corresponds to 0,75 inch.
1 inch = 25,4mm = code 100
¾ inch = 19,05mm = code 075
