The linear ball bearing (also known as the ball bushing or shaft guide) consists of a polymer housing with hardened steel tread segments to guide the ball sets within the entire system. The circulating balls ensured an unlimited stroke at low friction. Ewellix, linear ball bearings are available in two series: As a compact series 1 (LBBR) and as a high-performance series 3 (LBC) with a design according to ISO 10285. The extensive product range includes bearings, housings, shafts and accessories that can be used for the construction of economical and simple linear guidance systems for a wide range of applications. Lubrication of the linear ball bearings The Ewellix linear ball bearings and units for shaft diameters of 6 mm and more are supplied pre-lubricated ex factory. Due to the quantity of lubricant and the Ewellix Double Lip Seal (2LS), no relubrication is required in most areas of application, as the theoretical relubrication interval is longer than the shelf life of the bearing. These Ewellix linear ball bearings are lubricated with the high-quality rolling bearing grease LGEP2.
